This Privacy Policy explains how GymTimer ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use the app. GymTimer is a simple interval timer for gym workouts — it has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no backend server.
We do not collect or receive any personal information. The workout settings you configure (work/rest durations, repetition target) are stored only in your device's local app storage, never transmitted anywhere, and are removed automatically if you uninstall the app.
GymTimer shows banner ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google AdMob and its partners may collect and process data such as your device's advertising identifier, general device information, approximate location, and ad interaction data, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We do not control what Google's ad services collect and do not receive that data ourselves.
You can review or reset your advertising identifier, and opt out of personalized advertising, in your device's system settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising). You can also review Google's own ad settings at adssettings.google.com.
GymTimer plays short audio cues (a phase-change beep and a spoken "ten seconds" alert) during a workout. It does not record, capture, or transmit audio, and does not access your microphone, camera, contacts, or location.
We do not sell or share personal information, because we don't collect any. The only third party involved is Google AdMob, described above, which operates under its own privacy policy independent of GymTimer.
GymTimer is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised effective date.
